Privacy Policy for Wool Empire

Last updated: [INSERT DATE — e.g., June 9, 2026]

This Privacy Policy explains how Scalise Family Sheep Farm LLC ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you play Wool Empire (the "Game"). By playing the Game, you agree to the practices described here.

Fill in the three bracketed items before publishing: the date above, your contact email in the Contact section, and (optionally) your business mailing address. Then host this page at a public URL and enter that URL in the Google Play Console.

1. Who we are

Wool Empire is published by Scalise Family Sheep Farm LLC, a family- and veteran-run farm based in New Hampshire, USA. If you have any questions about this policy or your data, contact us using the details in Section 11.

2. Information we collect

a) Information you provide when you create an account (optional). The Game lets you create an account to save and sync your progress across devices. Account sign-in is handled by Google Firebase Authentication. Depending on how you sign in, we receive:

  • your email address;
  • a display name (if you provide one, or the name on your Google account);
  • if you choose "Continue with Google," basic Google account profile information (name, email, and a Google account identifier);
  • a unique user ID assigned by Firebase.

We do not see or store your password. Passwords are handled securely by Google Firebase Authentication.

b) Game progress data. When you are signed in, your in-game progress (such as your farm, flock, resources, and settings) is saved to Google Firebase (Firestore) so it can sync across your devices. If you are not signed in, your progress is stored only on your device.

c) Information collected automatically. Like most mobile games, the Game and the third-party services below may automatically collect certain technical and usage information, including a device or advertising identifier, device type and operating system, app version, general usage and crash data, and IP address (used to approximate general location, not precise location). This information is used to operate the Game, show advertising, and improve stability and performance.

3. Advertising

The Game displays ads through Google AdMob. AdMob and its partners may use device and advertising identifiers and other information to serve and measure ads, including (where permitted) personalized ads. You can control ad personalization in your device settings ("Ads" or "Reset advertising ID"). For more information, see Google's policies at https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads.

4. Third-party services we use

We rely on the following Google services, each governed by Google's Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy):

  • Firebase Authentication — account sign-in (email/password and Google).
  • Cloud Firestore — storing and syncing your game progress.
  • Google AdMob — serving advertisements.
  • Firebase / Google Analytics — basic usage and performance measurement, where enabled.

We do not sell your personal information.

5. How we use your information

We use the information described above to:

  • create and manage your account;
  • save and sync your game progress across devices;
  • display and measure advertising;
  • maintain, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the Game;
  • comply with legal obligations.

6. Data sharing

We share information only with the third-party service providers listed in Section 4 so they can perform their functions, and where required by law. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

7. Data retention and deletion (your choices)

You can stop progress from syncing at any time by signing out within the Game.

Account and data deletion. You may request deletion of your account and the associated data (your sign-in information and saved game progress) at any time by emailing us at the address in Section 11 with the subject line "Delete my Wool Empire account." We will delete your account data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law. You can also clear locally stored progress by clearing the Game's data in your device settings.

Google Play requires apps that offer account creation to also offer a way to request account and data deletion, including a publicly reachable link. The email method above satisfies this; if you prefer, you can also set up a simple web form and reference its URL here.

8. Children's privacy

Wool Empire is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

If you decide to target children/families in the Play Console, you must also comply with Google Play's Families policy and serve only child-appropriate (non-personalized) ads. Tell your developer if you choose that path so ad settings can be adjusted.

9. Security

We use Google's secure infrastructure to store account and game data, protected by access rules so that each player can access only their own saved data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

10. International users and changes to this policy

Your information may be processed on Google's servers, which may be located in the United States or other countries. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time; when we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Significant changes will be reflected in the Game or its store listing.
