Flock Book does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information.

Your records stay on your device

Everything you enter — animal details, photographs, health entries, vet documents, breeding and lambing records, milk, wool and weight records, and care tasks — is stored only on your own device. It is never uploaded to us or to anyone else. We operate no server, no account system, and no analytics. We cannot see your records, and neither can anyone else.

Camera and photos

The app requests camera and photo access solely so you can attach a photograph to an animal's record, or attach a scan or photograph of a document from your vet. Those images stay on your device.

Notifications

The app requests notification access solely to remind you about your own records — a withdrawal period ending, a lambing window opening, routine care falling due, or a medicine reaching its expiry date. Reminders are generated on your device. There is no messaging service and no push server.

Backups, exports and the calendar

Backup files, spreadsheet exports, health summaries and calendar files are created on your device and go wherever you choose to send them, using your phone's own sharing tools. The app never uploads them anywhere itself, and we receive no copy.

Removing your data

Uninstalling the app removes its records from your device. You can also erase everything from within the app, under Settings. Export a backup first if you want to keep your records.

Children

Flock Book is a farm management tool intended for adults and is not directed at children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted on this page with a new date above.
